This website
This site is static HTML, CSS and a few lines of JavaScript. It sets no cookies, uses no analytics, and loads no third-party fonts or scripts. The hosting provider (Cloudflare Pages) may keep standard server logs such as IP address and user agent as part of serving any website.
The app
Asha has no account, no sign-in, and no first-party analytics service. We do not receive your conversations.
- Speech. Transcription and speech synthesis run on your Mac. Your microphone audio is not sent to us.
- Your keys. If you bring your own model or service key, it is stored on your machine. Requests go directly from your Mac to the provider you configured, under that provider's terms and privacy policy.
- Screen reading. Capturing and reading your screen happens locally.
- Connectors. Gmail, Google Calendar and Figma access is granted by you, using your own project or token. Asha can read and act only within the permissions you grant, and you can revoke them at any time.
- Generated media. Images and video are produced through the providers you configured, so those prompts go to those providers.
Open source
Asha is free and open source under the MIT licence. There are no paid Asha plans and no metering gateway — with your own key, requests go straight from your Mac to the provider you configured.
